US President Donald Trump introduced Friday by way of Twitter that the second summit between him and North Korean chief Kim Jong Un will happen in Hanoi, Vietnam, on February 27 and 28.
“My representatives have simply left North Korea after a really productive assembly and an agreed upon time and date for the second Summit with Kim Jong Un,” Trump informed his followers. “I sit up for seeing Chairman Kim & advancing the reason for peace!”
Previous to the affirmation from Trump, South Korean media retailers had hinted at Hanoi being the location of their subsequent summit. Different attainable places included Singapore, Mongolia and Switzerland.
Kim and Trump beforehand held their first-ever summit in June 2018 on the Capella Resort in Singapore.
