According to reports former baseball player David Ortiz has been shot and currently hospitalized due to a gunshot wound. The report, from Dominican Republic news outlet CDN 37, says that Ortiz was wounded close to Bar Vial of Avenida Venezuela, Santo Domingo Este within the Dominican Republic.
